WOMEN’S TECH PROGRAMS…
The Tech Ready Program is a specialised initiative designed to empower female founders who may lack technical expertise in the male-dominated tech industry. The program aims to equip women entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to establish and maintain a successful startup.
One of the key aspects of the Tech Ready Program is the involvement of accomplished founders, CEOs, and mentors who act as guides and provide invaluable support to participants. These experienced individuals offer their advice, tips, and tricks based on their own journeys and successes in the tech industry. Their insights can help participants refine their ideas, navigate challenges, and potentially save significant amounts of money by avoiding common pitfalls.
Our mission is to improve the success rate of women starting technology businesses.
By creating a supportive environment, the Tech Ready Program fosters collaboration and encourages the exchange of knowledge among female founders. This collaborative setting allows participants to learn from one another’s experiences, share resources, and build a strong network within the tech community.
The program’s curriculum is specifically tailored to address the unique needs and challenges faced by female entrepreneurs. It covers a wide range of topics, including idea validation, market research, product development, marketing strategies, funding options, and business sustainability. The aim is to provide comprehensive training that enables participants to develop their ideas into viable startups.
Despite Sydney having one of the highest rates of female founders globally, the overall percentage of female founders is still relatively low at 22%. This gender imbalance highlights the need for initiatives like the Tech Ready Program, which specifically target and support women in the startup ecosystem.
By providing a female-centred program, the Tech Ready Program aims to address the gender inequality in the tech industry and empower more women to become successful founders. Such programs play a crucial role in fostering a more inclusive and diverse startup ecosystem by offering tailored resources, mentorship, and opportunities for skill development to aspiring female entrepreneurs.
The Tech Ready Program recognises the unique challenges that women often face in the tech industry, such as limited access to networks, funding, and role models. By focusing on these specific needs, the program helps bridge the gender gap and encourages more women to pursue entrepreneurship in the tech sector.
Taking a holistic and hands on approach to learning, the Tech Ready Program uses a community style mentoring approach that allows participants to draw from a collective intelligence of their mentors, experts, entrepreneurs, designers, and developers.
We want to hear more success stories from Australian female tech startups and inspire a new generation of women entrepreneurs to step confidently into the tech space.
Seeking motivated female founders, the Tech Ready Program provides the education designed to reach goals faster and increase growth for inspired individuals who are willing to go above and beyond to make their business a success.
Our structured program will help you to gain the confidence in your own ability to execute successfully and most importantly provide a launching pad to help you thrive in the tech industry.
Attending interactive workshops as part of the Tech Ready Program provides participants with valuable opportunities to learn from startup experts and refine their ideas. These workshops offer a platform for engaging with experienced professionals who can provide guidance and insights specific to the challenges faced by female founders in the tech industry.
During the workshops, participants can benefit from hands-on activities, collaborative exercises, and discussions that encourage active learning and practical application of the concepts taught. Startup experts can share their knowledge and expertise, helping participants develop a deeper understanding of key aspects such as product development, market strategy, scalability, and sustainability.
