Nestled in the heart of England, this storied craftsmanship has played an essential role in the success of some of the planet’s fastest racing cars, adorned with countless world championships and trophies. Four decades of dedication and innovation have honed their skills to perfection, and this wealth of experience now manifests itself in their exquisite pen collections.

Drawing inspiration from the exacting demands of the racing industry, these pens seamlessly marry elegance with the pinnacle of manufacturing knowledge and techniques. The beating heart of their collections lies in highly skilled machining operations, where every piece embarks on a meticulous journey encompassing machining, hand finishing, and precise assembly. Quality control reigns supreme, with each item undergoing rigorous inspection and testing, leaving no room for imperfections. It’s a labour of love, one that spans eight weeks for each creation.

The dedication to perfection extends to the very essence of their pens, with a research and development phase ranging from two to four years. They consider a multitude of factors in the creation process, such as sustainability and eco-friendly materials and processes, exquisite aesthetic design, ergonomic fit, cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, and innovative finishing techniques and coatings.

Take, for instance, their use of Carbon Fibre—a material renowned for its remarkable strength-to-weight ratio, reminiscent of its role in motor racing car monocoques. Just like the racing components it hails from, crafting these pens involves intricate machining operations, hand finishing, assembly, and, of course, meticulous inspection and testing, all adding up to the eight-week timeline.

While mindful of their environmental footprint, they are committed to eco-conscious production. To offset their impact, they craft their products from recyclable materials like high-grade aluminium and stainless steel, ensuring sustainability aligns with their uncompromising quality.

Speaking of alloys, they employ Aluminium Manganese alloy—an essential choice for racing car components, delivering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that allows cars to conquer speeds exceeding 320 km/h (200 mph) and withstand g-forces of up to 6g. This alloy boasts remarkable corrosion resistance, augmented by the addition of manganese, which bolsters its structural integrity.

Additionally, they embrace Stainless Steel Molybdenum alloy, infused with a dash of Titanium. This grade of stainless steel exhibits impeccable corrosion resistance, remarkable strength-to-weight attributes, and an impressive toughness, even under extreme cryogenic conditions.

To crown their masterpieces, they employ an amorphic carbon coating process—a high-temperature endeavour where components endure heating at a blistering 900°C (1650°F). This process bestows a titanium carbon coating, renowned for enhancing wear resistance. This same coating is trusted in racing car components to withstand the rigors of high-speed competition.

The finishing touch of ceramic lacquer, a skill honed over years of dedication, adds a layer of refinement. Notably, this same ceramic lacquer graces the exteriors of motor racing monocoques, symbolizing their unwavering commitment to precision and quality.
