These gorgeous Australian celebrities puckered up in a photo shoot ahead of Pink Hope’s Bright Lipstick Day – which encourages people to speak about their family health history.
Pink Hope’s annual #BrightPinkLipstickDay campaign is empowering everyone to have a conversation regarding their family health history, with this knowledge you have the power to take control of your health.
Pink Hope’s annual Bright Pink Lipstick Day campaign is highlighting the importance of “knowing” your family health history. The key message of Bright Pink Lipstick Day this year is ‘Save lives with your Lips’. What does this mean to you? Save lives with your lips, what a fantastic initiative! We should all be encouraged to “Kiss-and-tell.”
Pink Hope is a fantastic organization promoting female empowerment through a supportive community. Us girls need to look out for each other. – Mallory Jansen
Pink Hope Founder
The wonderful Krystal Barter is a preventative cancer activist, speaker and author after she discovered her family’s cancer history was not by chance but due to a gene fault called BRCA1 (the same gene made famous by Angelina Jolie) which predisposes the carrier to breast and ovarian cancer. Krystal created the charity from her hospital bed while recovering from her preventative double mastectomy at age 25 (after changes were discovered in her breast tissue) and in 2014 took the final step of having her ovary and fallopian tubes removed to reduce her risk of ovarian cancer.
Having experienced the isolation and lack of information for at-risk families – Krystal created Pink Hope for women and families like hers, with the goal of ensuring Pink Hope reaches every corner of the country to find every at-risk family.
A host of stunning celebrity guests, including Delta Goodrem, Sophie Monk, Charlotte Best, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Mallory Jansen, Carissa Walford, Anna Heinrich, Zoe Marshall, Erin Holland and more… will turn out for the annual launch.
We are encouraging families, friends and colleagues to sign up to host a Bright Pink Lipstick Day Fundraiser. Not only are fundraisers a great way to get people together but the funds raised through this campaign enable Pink Hope to invest in critical lifesaving programs and support services.
